Booking A Walk

Walks open for booking at least 6 weeks in advance of the walk. Three walks are open for booking at any one time.

Guests must contact the Booking Secretary (see below) to book a walk.

Bookings can be made in the following ways:

  • Online via WebCollect (members only). Payment can be made by bank transfer or direct debit (GoCardless).
    • In person prior to the Wednesday Committee meetings between 7.00 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. The committee meetings are held in the Community Room, Morrisons Supermarket, Tynemouth (NE29 9QR)
  • By phone: call the Booking Secretary, Clare Sarin on 07732010362.
  • If you book by email or phone, you can pay cash on the bus on the day of the walk. Please put the correct money (or cheque payable to St Edwards Fellwalkers) in an envelope clearly marked with your name, the walk(s) you are paying for and the amount, and give this to the Booking Secretary. If the Booking Secretary is not out on the walk, another designated member of the committee will collect the money on her behalf.
  • If you are unable to walk, please advise the Booking Secretary. This will enable another member to take your place.

CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel a walk up to 6:00 pm on the Sunday evening before the walk you will receive a credit which can be used to pay for a future walk. Refunds are not usually given. No credits or refunds will be given if you cancel a walk after this time.
