County Durham
Step Back in Time in County Durham
County Durham is rich in contrasts, from the expansive moorland of Weardale to the dramatic waterfalls and wooded valleys of Teesdale. Together, we’ll explore stunning locations like High Force, one of the most majestic waterfalls in England, and the vast Hamsterley Forest, a favourite for its peaceful woodland trails.
Our walks often take us through villages steeped in industrial heritage, such as Stanhope and Wolsingham, or along the River Wear, where Durham Cathedral rises majestically above the skyline. At the end of the day, we relax in charming market towns like Barnard Castle or Middleton-in-Teesdale, reflecting on the beauty we’ve shared.
