Explore the Hidden Gems of Cumbria

Cumbria offers a wealth of walking opportunities beyond the world famous Lake District. The distinctive Howgill Hills are a particular highlight, their sweeping curves and open landscapes providing stunning views and a peaceful escape. Our members enjoy climbing to landmarks like Cautley Spout, England’s highest waterfall, or the spectacular High Cup Nick, before ending the day in historic towns like Sedbergh, Kirkby Lonsdale, or Kirkby Stephen.

In North Cumbria, picturesque spots like Talkin Tarn and Lanercost Priory are favourites, offering a mix of natural beauty and historic interest. We often finish our walks in the historic market town of Brampton, adding a warm Cumbrian welcome to our outdoor adventures.
